One of the hardest things to do when you want to lose weight is stick with a fitness routine. We have all been there: you get motivated by seeing someone else's success story, or you have just joined the gym, and you are all fired up to work out. You go and go for a couple of weeks, see some results, and then all of a sudden you get busy, or something comes up and you can’t go to the gym one day. One day turns into one week, and you fall right back into your old habits. It all sounds very depressing, doesn’t it? Take heart my fellow quitter: there are a few things you can do to that will make it easier for you to stick to an exercise routine and create good habits for yourself. |

Working out seems to be a growing trend in today’s society, and the more popular it grows, the healthier people get. Exercise is always good, and can never hurt, as long as it’s done correctly. When people rush into a new exercise routine without consulting their doctor or a personal trainer, (or both!) they can end up being injured by either not doing the exercise properly or because it is the wrong type of workout for their body. Everyone has a different history, and what works for one person may not necessarily work for you. That being said, most exercise moves will work for most people, but make sure you do consult a professional before beginning any new fitness routine. |

Since Barack Obama was elected president, his whole family has gotten a lot of publicity; probably more positive attention than any other first family since the Kennedys. People all over the world have really taken to the Obamas. Everyone wants to know more about them, even down to how Michelle Obama keeps her arms so toned. She always looks great in anything sleeveless, and there is a good reason for this: she makes working out a high priority most days of the week. Did you know that she used to go to the gym for 4:30am to workout? Wow. Not too many people could admit to that kind of commitment! Now that they live in the White House, she doesn’t have to go to the gym to workout, and her routine has changed somewhat. She still says that her ideal workout is 90 minutes long. |

What do you think of when you hear the term, "six pack"? People used to think of beer first when the subject of six packs came up, but nowadays we automatically think about abs. Getting firm, six pack abs seems to be one of the number one goals in life these days. Everyone wants to be able to show off a tight, muscled stomach, and there are many people making millions of dollars off of this desire. Unfortunately, there are too many gimmicks out there, and after spending their money and getting their hopes up, many people are still left with flabby abs, not to mention depleted bank accounts! There really is only one way to get those much sought after six pack abs, and that is to eat right, and exercise right. |
