When the summer months roll around, people flock to the beaches all across the country and to their local community pool to cool off with a nice swim or to lay out and catch some rays from the sun. The one thing that most people don’t take into account when they do this is that the sun’s rays are incredibly harmful. Sun tan lotion is on the market for the protection of the consumer’s skin from developing skin cancer, which can develop into serious forms of melanoma. Tanning at the pool or the beach using the sun’s harmful rays is just as dangerous as going fake tanning at a local tanning salon.

Performing a manicure and a pedicure at home will cost much less then getting them done at the spa or the nail salon. A spa will typically charge anywhere from $25-$35 and a pedicure will cost anywhere from $45-$55 while it might cost $10 for each one at the nail salon. It isn’t free to perform a pedicure and manicure on yourself at home but it does cost much less, because all you have to pay for is the nail polish. Granted, you won’t be able to trim and massage your cuticles as well as the person at the salon or spa can do it but it will still be cheaper on the wallet.
